Nursing science stands at the forefront of transformative change, driven by compassion, innovation, and a deep commitment to improving patient outcomes. Nurse scientists have the unique opportunity to harness the power of Artificial Intelligence to enhance our research, deepen our insights, and extend the reach of our care. AI has the potential to revolutionize the way we understand health patterns, personalize interventions, and anticipate patient needs, making healthcare more proactive and equitable. By integrating AI thoughtfully, we can ensure that this powerful tool amplifies our ability to lead in solving the most pressing healthcare challenges of our time, while always keeping the human touch at the heart of care. Challenges and ethical and legal implications need to also be addressed in order to ensure equitable and appropriate use of AI in nursing science. This workshop aims to examine these complex issues and highlight a roadmap for the integration of AI in the nursing science portfolio.
